I want more Sivajis: Shriya

Shriya Saran’s

It’s Shriya Saran’s birthday today. But, she’s planned nothing adventurous for the day. “Nothing really out of the box. I just went out with my family for dinner last night and am planning to hang out with my friends today,” says the damsel. For Shriya, the year gone by has not been as good as she had expected it to be. “I have had my share of ups and downs. But who doesn’t? There is a lot more to come and a lot more to do,” she says, philosophically. Also, Shriya doesn’t want to single out those movies of hers that she thinks could have been handled better, but yes, she sure wants more Sivajis in her kitty.

“I expected a lot from last year. So I was bound to be disappointed. But still, the year gone by is not my idea of a perfect year. I am still to find the right kind of work,” says the lovely lass. And she has quite a number of wishes she hopes will come true.

“Sivaji was a fantastic movie. It is one movie I am going to take back to my grave and like a greedy actor, I want more such movies in my career. And, yes, I do want the movies that I have finished long ago to release soon. Like Other Side Of The Line and What’s Cooking ,” says Shriya.

Talking about Other Side Of The Line , Shriya was linked to her co-star in the movie, Jesse Metcalfe. “Jesse is a good friend and a great actor. The movie is very well made and Jesse is a method actor, which made it easy for me to work with him. As for our link-up, well, trust me it is just a rumour. He is a very good-looking guy, but he is committed to his girlfriend. And as a Indian girl with values, I respect that,” she clarifies. Any more unsaid wishes for next year? “To get bigger and better. More Sivajis, lots more learning and a lot of fun!” she smiles.
