Mallika works on Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azaam
Mallika Sherawat apparently was visited by the ghost of yesteryear actress Madhubala when the sets for next film Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azaam. Mallika was shooting the song Jab Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya decided to take a break and retired on her vanity van. In the original Mughal-e-Azaam, incidentally Madhubala played the court dancer Anarkali who was buried alive for falling love with Prince Salim.But in the current spoof of a sequel, Mallika plays a delusional theatre actress who doubles up as a government agent. And she was dressed in Anarkali’s costume when she took her break and fell asleep.
Unit members report that a rather shaken Mallika came out in some time and told them that she had seen Madhubala’s apparition inside the van. “It was hard to believe,” said a source, “but these things are known to happen, and it could be true, because Mallika was so much into Madhubala’s character.
